This morning was such a beautiful morning. The sun was shining and the air was crisp, so I decided to take a quick stroll through Alamitos Bay Marina. The smell of ocean fresh air and warm sun on my face drifted me away. All I could think about is how lucky we are to live and work in such a beautiful city as Long Beach, CA. The 15 minute ride from my home to Long Beach Marina was merely a hop, skip, and a jump away.
Just beyond the sea of boats I could see the beautiful luxury homes of Naples Island and the Peninsula. My mind couldn’t help but wander. I wondered what the homes look like inside? Did they decorate traditional to the homes style or did they rock their own flare? Since it is the holiday season, how did they decorate the exterior of their home? As you can see so many questions began to flood my brain. Forgive me, I can’t remember them all, but I am sure you could come up with a few of your own. Anyway, I began to think about where I want my distinctive home to be located. I definitely know I need to live by the ocean. Whether it will be located in a coastal community (just a few minutes from the beach), ocean view estate (maybe up on a hill or cliff side somewhere to get 180 degree or more ocean views), or right on the water (such as Naples Island or The Peninsula). Either way all 3 locations sound ideal to me!
What style of home do you prefer? I am sucker for Spanish style homes, Mediterranean style homes, and Tudor style homes. The historic character of the three styles, seems so enchanting and cozy. Good thing Naples Island features all three styles I adore! Of course, there are other styles of homes Naples Island has to offer such as, beach cottage, cape cod, and retro. How ever you picture your distinctive home, I am sure Naples Island has it!
Until next time…Remember to always LIVE DISTINCTIVELY!
