Teal Pumpkin Project

This Halloween, while you’re out trick-or-treating, you may see a couple teal pumpkins on display. While they are cute (and not just because they are the Live Distinctively colors there is a deeper purpose behind the color choice. The Teal Pumpkin 

Project is a movement created by FARE (Food Allergy Research & Education) to raise awareness of food allergies and promote inclusion of all trick-or-treaters throughout the Halloween season.

A teal pumpkin is a sign that there is alternate treats available for kids with allergies or medical conditions that prevent them from eating candy. All you need to do to participate in the teal pumpkin project is display a teal pumpkin, and provide trick-or-treaters with a non-food item as a treat!
